This device works as advertised.

Just start the song in the Blackberry and then plug in the adapter.

I've had success with it using several sets of computer speakers. This application works great, just not a lot of volume.

By buying a Radio Shack 3-Ft. Gold Series Stereo Y-Cable, Phono Plugs to 1/8" Jack ($7.49 Model: 42-2550 Catalog #: 42-2550) you should be able to use your Blackberry with a home stereo amplifier.
