Our dog chewed up the original pouch that came with my wife's BB Curve (fortunately the phone was not in the pouch at the time) and I found this as a replacement. This is exactly the same as the original pouch, and my wife is quite happy with it - we both prefer the pouch style cases to skin types or ones with belt clips.

This case is perfect for carrying my blackberry in my pocket when I am at work. It definitely protects the screen from getting scratched. I don't know how many times I have sat on it or dropped it and the phone is perfectly protected. I would recommend this to anyone if you want your phone in your pocket or purse.
